Florida helmet law
Florida classifies the Slingshot as an autocycle: with seat belts and its enclosed-style seating, occupants are not required to wear motorcycle helmets. The honest part: it's still open-air
No doors, no airbags, no roof — the Slingshot trades crash structure for the open-air thrill, so the real safety system is how you drive it: assume other drivers don't see you (you sit low), keep following distance, and respect wet pavement — that wide rear tire has all the power; our rain guide covers it. At sane speeds on Miami's 30–45 mph roads, it's a mellow, stable machine.

Is a Polaris Slingshot safe to drive?

Do you need a helmet on a Slingshot in Florida?

Does a Slingshot tip over easily?
